Do I need to set up an appointment before I deliver my baby?

No. We will visit you and your newborn in the hospital after delivery.

What should I bring to the hospital for my newborn pictures?

You may bring anything and everything you can carry. Many of our families bring blankets, outfits, keepsakes, instruments, uniforms, etc. But don't worry, if you don't bring something for pictures, we have lots to choose from. We have blankets, baskets, pedistals, bows, hats, jewelry - we have something for everyone.

I've seen a baby picture in a magazine or somewhere else that I'd really like to try, can we?

Yes! We love trying new things. We can try anything you would like. These are your pictures to enjoy forever, so unique and specail ideas are always welcomed and encouraged.

Our newborn has an older brother or sister, can they be in the pictures?

Absolutely. We love it when the whole family is participating. These pictures are taken for you to enjoy for years and years to come.

Is there a sitting fee?

No. We do not charge a sitting fee. There are no upfront fees. It's FREE to have your newborns picture taken.

What's the catch on the FREE sitting?

There is not a catch. It's absolutely free to have your pictures done professionally while you are in the hospital. The only cost are the prints you want. You choose the prints you need.

How much are the prints?

We have something for everyone. Ranging from $5.00, up to what ever your need for pictures is.

Once we have our Newborn Portrait done, how long does it take to get them?

You will leave the hospital with ALL of your prints. We deliver your pictures before you leave the hospital.You can start mailing them out and hanging them up the day you leave the hospital.

What if we don't deliver at a hospital where Impressions is the exclusive professional photography company?

No problem. Just call or email us and we will set an appointment for the time that is most convenient for you.

We already have an appointment with our photographer after we leave the hospital, should we still have pictures taken with you?

Yes. It's FREE to have pictures taken. Your baby will change in the first week or two, so having a memory captured professionally in the convenience of your hospital stay is very important. There is no pressure to purchase, so for piece-of-mind, take pictures with Impressions and you'll always have the newborn baby hospital look available to you later.
